What is my Systems Architecture (also called Enterprise Architecture)?
Put simply, it is the way that data passes around your organisation from system to system or from system to person (usually via a report).......It is not alwasy high-tech - a spreadsheet can be part of your Architecture!
Good Architecture design ensures that systems or software applications can pass data between themselves seamlessly and uniformly formatted - thankfully most mainstream software applications have pre-built APIs which removes costly integration efforts in most cases.
Good Architecture design should also consider resilience and ensure support response is alligned to the level of impact any point of failure might have on your business.
